Set in grade II-listed building in the heart of Bath, The King’s Retreat is the perfect base from which to explore the city. It's located just a three-minute walk from the famous Thermae Bath Spa, four minutes from the Roman Baths, and seven minutes to the train and bus station. With such a perfect location, all you have to worry about is how to spend your days, choosing between the markets, tea rooms, and historical sights (there are plenty – the city dates back to the Roman era). And if you want to get a bit closer to nature, there’s a lovely footpath along the river Avon that we can vouch for, or head into the Cotswolds for a day trip.
